Tennis

As lockdown is eased once again, we are delighted that Tennis is once again one of the first sports that can be played both socially and competitively.

The HCC has 6 well-maintained hard courts, two of which are floodlit, and they are set in a quiet, leafy corner of the HCC grounds.

The aim of the Tennis Section is to encourage as many people as possible to enjoy playing Tennis and we are always keen to welcome new members.

Coaching is available for adults who are new to Tennis or who need to refresh their rusty skills and we have a new “Tennis Fitness” class to music for those who may prefer a more fun approach to the game. Junior Coaching is also available for different age ranges.

We particularly want to encourage families to join and have introduced a Family membership rate for up to 2 adults and 3 children which works out at less than £12 a month.

If you are interested in joining, do come along or make contact with the office who will direct you to one of the Committee, who will be only too pleased to  give you the opportunity to visit the Club and try out tennis as a guest before making any commitment.

(Parental supervision required for children under 13)

*All Tennis section players must be members of the Hartley Country Club.

This affords use of the Club seven days a week including the pleasant bar/restaurant and the opportunity to join other sports section.
